A prayer for this moment
Lord, You offered me a resting place, and I closed the door. I'm sorry. I open it now. Give rest to me in my weariness, and teach me to receive the refreshing You keep offering. Amen.
Listen
The house finally stopped. You set the keys down. Not the day. It followed you inside. Nothing asked. You still carried. Rest here awhile in quiet soaking worship, where peaceful prayer lingers and God's presence is found in the stillness. "Give rest to the weary." — Isaiah 28:12 (WEB)
