Jesus FuelYou Realized You'd Been Held the Whole Time
Everything on Genesis 28:16Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I didn’t know it.”
Genesis 28:16 · WEB
A prayer for this moment
God, You were here all along, and I didn't know it. Like Jacob waking up, help me realize I've been held the whole time. Open my eyes to Your presence in this very place. Amen.
Listen
Nothing changed. The room was the same. The noise was the same. Your history was still your history. And yet something felt different. You realized you'd been held the whole time. Even when your body wouldn't stand down. Even before you knew you were carrying it. Even where you couldn't receive it yet. The scanning. The bracing. The grip. The listening.
